What is IMF in IRDI?

Insurance Marketing Firm(IMF) is a distribution channel introduced by the Authority in 2015. It is envisaged to be a non-stop shop, offering financial products required at various stages of the life of an individual insurance marketing firm, as the name suggests, it is a firm that markets insurance services. In the legal terms prescribed by the IRDAI, an IMF or insurance marketing firm is an entity with permission to undertake insurance service activities. “SUFANTA INSURANCE MARKETING PVT.LTD.” It was established as an IMF on 23rd Feb 2018 and has been providing its services to mankind for the last 6 years and is currently raising hands to many persons unaware of the importance of insurance. Sufanta with its services has won the hearts of people. And provided such a platform where anyone can secure a career with passive growth. Along with the hearts, Sufanta won the trust tree of people with its excellent claim services and family-like behaviour.

2. Objective

i. To solicit or procure insurance products as specified by the regulator, by engaging insurance salespersons to establish life, health and general insurance companies.

ii. To carry on establishing, organizing, managing, promoting, providing, operating, conducting and developing life insurance, health insurance and general insurance business in all its branches and manifestations in India or elsewhere.

iii. For this purpose engaging insurance salespersons, employees, service providers, Bima Mitra principal officers, business promoters, and surveyors to operate various schemes including whole life insurance, endowment insurance, double benefit and multiple benefit insurance medical insurance, vehicle insurance, fire, riots, earthquake, natural calamity or crop insurance, limbs and organ insurance, all animal husbandry insurance and industry insurance, annuity plans gratuity plans, fixed-income plans and such other schemes and plans as may be considered expedient and necessary from time to time, subject to the terms and conditions of the insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India(Registration of Insurance Marketing Firm) Regulations, 2015. To organize promotional schemes, tour programs, events &award functions to promote its business.

iv. Spread Life insurance widely and in particular to rural areas and the socially and economically backward classes to reach all insurable persons
